Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the TidyClips iOS app, web app, Share extension, transcription features, shared collections, and related services. By creating an account or using TidyClips, you agree to these Terms.

Accounts

You must provide accurate account information, keep your credentials secure, and promptly notify us of unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account. You may not transfer or sell an account.

Your content and permissions

You retain ownership of the links, notes, tags, media, and other content you submit. You grant TidyClips a limited permission to host, process, transmit, and display that content only as needed to provide, secure, and improve the service. You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed for content you save, upload, transcribe, or share.

Third-party content

TidyClips helps you organize references to content hosted by third parties. We do not control third-party availability, accuracy, licensing, or changes. A rich preview, transcript, Smart Clip, or Link Pulse result does not transfer ownership or grant permission to copy or distribute the underlying material.

Subscriptions and billing

TidyClips offers auto-renewing subscriptions. The available product, price, currency, tax, trial eligibility, billing period, and renewal terms are shown before purchase.

• App Store purchases are billed and managed by Apple and are subject to Apple’s payment and refund rules.
• Web purchases are managed by RevenueCat Billing, with Stripe acting as payment processor, and are managed through the RevenueCat customer portal.
• Eligible new Pro subscribers may receive a seven-day trial. Pro + Transcription does not include a trial unless explicitly shown at checkout.
• Pro + Transcription includes 60 transcription minutes per subscription month. Unused or top-up minutes are governed by the purchase terms shown in the app.

Cancel through the store or portal that billed you. Cancellation normally stops future renewal while access continues until the displayed expiration date. Refund requests must be directed to the merchant that processed the purchase.

Acceptable use

You may not misuse TidyClips, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with service operation, evade product limits, introduce malicious code, scrape the service at scale, violate intellectual-property or privacy rights, or use transcription or sharing for unlawful purposes.

Shared collections

A shared collection is accessible to people who possess its active link. You are responsible for deciding what to include and who receives the link. We may disable links used for abuse, infringement, or unlawful activity.

Availability and changes

Features may depend on third-party sources and providers. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features to maintain security, comply with law, or improve the product. We do not guarantee that every URL will remain available, every preview can be generated, or every media source can be transcribed.

Termination

You may stop using TidyClips or delete your account. We may restrict or terminate access for material or repeated violations, abuse, security risks, legal requirements, or nonpayment, with notice where reasonably practicable.

Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, TidyClips is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties that can legally be disclaimed. TidyClips is not responsible for third-party content or services. Our aggregate liability will not exceed the amount you paid for TidyClips during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, except where applicable law does not allow that limitation.

Changes and contact

We may update these Terms to reflect product or legal changes. Continued use after an effective update constitutes acceptance where permitted by law. Questions can be sent to contact@tidyclips.app.
