Privacy Policy

TidyClips provides a private account library for saving and organizing links, websites, articles, videos, and local media. This policy explains the information processed when you use the iOS app, web app, Share extension, transcription features, and shared collections.

Information we process

Account and contact information

We process your email address, authentication identifiers, and account settings to create and secure your account, synchronize your library, send confirmation or password-reset messages, and respond to support requests.

Saved content and user content

We process the URLs, titles, thumbnails, collections, tags, notes, favorites, reminders, and other information you choose to save. When you import local audio or video or request a transcript, the selected media and related metadata are processed only to provide the requested feature.

Purchases and subscription identifiers

Apple or RevenueCat Billing processes payment information. TidyClips receives purchase identifiers, product, store, entitlement, status, renewal state, and expiration information needed to provide access. TidyClips does not receive your complete card number.

Usage, diagnostics, and device information

We may process app activity, feature usage, device or browser information, approximate region, crash information, and technical diagnostics to operate, secure, and improve the service. Apple’s App Privacy disclosure lists purchases, location, contact information, user content, identifiers, usage data, and diagnostics according to Apple’s required categories and linkage definitions.

Transcription

When you request transcription, the relevant audio or video is sent to ElevenLabs for processing. The resulting transcript is associated with your saved item. TidyClips does not use transcript content to train its own models. Do not submit media you are not permitted to process.

How we use information

• Provide authentication, synchronization, search, organization, sharing, transcription, and subscription access.
• Generate previews and detect duplicate or unavailable links.
• Protect accounts, prevent abuse, diagnose failures, and maintain service reliability.
• Respond to support, privacy, and legal requests.

Service providers

We use service providers including Supabase for authentication, database, storage, and server functions; RevenueCat for subscription entitlements and web billing; Apple for App Store distribution and purchases; Stripe as the payment processor behind RevenueCat Billing; ElevenLabs for requested transcription; and email delivery and hosting providers needed to operate TidyClips. Each provider processes information under its own terms and our applicable agreements.

Shared collections

Your account library is private by default. If you create a collection share link, anyone with the active link may view the content included in that shared collection. Do not include private information in a shared collection. Disable sharing when access is no longer intended.

Retention and deletion

We retain account and saved-content information while your account is active and as needed to operate the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and prevent abuse. You can delete saved content or request account deletion. Some purchase and security records may be retained where required by law or legitimate operational needs.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your personal information. You may also withdraw consent where consent is the legal basis. Contact us from the email address associated with your account so we can verify the request.

Security and international processing

We use access controls, encrypted transport, row-level database policies, and limited service credentials intended to protect your information. No system can guarantee absolute security. Providers may process information in countries other than your own under applicable transfer safeguards.

Children

TidyClips is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the product or legal requirements change. Material changes will be identified by a revised effective date or an in-product notice when appropriate. Questions and privacy requests can be sent to contact@tidyclips.app.
